SFYCA: Performance

The ultimate SFYCA experience is the final headline performance on the stage of Silva Concert Hall. You and your choir mates will put together all you’ve learned — the hard work, the friendships, the musicianship — in a main event Oregon Bach Festival concert conducted by Anton Armstrong, with guest artists and conductors such as the inspiring OBF leader and world-renowned Bach expert Helmuth Rilling.

SFYCA concert repertoire usually covers full ground from the likes of Bach, Mendelssohn, and Mozart to contemporary world music, gospel, and spirituals. In the 2010 finale July 5, Bobby McFerrin will be the SFYCA’s special guest. Together with Bobby you will spread the joy of singing to a packed Silva Hall crowd.

Plus, the choir sings in other Festival appearances such as the Discovery Series of lecture-concerts and at receptions and gatherings such as our annual gala Patron Celebration.
