2006 season • Article/FeatureFest debut of "Shoebox" ariaMay 23, 2006 Alles mit Gott, the Bach aria found in a shoebox of old manuscripts in 2005, gets its first Oregon Bach Festival performance July 12. Soprano Maria Jette will sing the three minute aria in the Intimate Evenings concert. Oboist Allan Vogel and trumpeter Guy Few share the stage for the concert, which takes place at 8 pm in Soreng Theatre. The program includes Bach's Wedding Cantata, a feature for oboe and soprano. Few performs a trumpet concerto by Baldassari, Bach's Italian contemporary. |
