2007 season • Article/FeatureUO German Culture Class Connects to FestMarch 25, 2007 "Music in German Cultural History" is a two-week University of Oregon course, June 29-July 15, that investigates German culture, literature, and music from the times of Martin Luther to Karl Marx, integrating three Festival concerts with works by Bach, Beethoven, Haydn, and Mendelssohn. It's a four-credit course offered by the UO's Department of German and Scandinavian that satisfies general-education requirements. OBF participants and general public may enroll as auditors. Summer Session registration officially opens May 7.
