The Tao of Bach on OPB

January 9, 2004

The Oregon Art Beat series on OPB-TV visits Tai Ji master (yes, that's the way he spells it) Chungliang Al Huang at his Gold Beach, Oregon retreat and on the stage of the Oregon Bach Festival, where he danced the "Tao of Bach" at the 2003 Festival. The show airs Thursday, February 12 at 8 p.m. on OPB-TV, cable channel 10 in Eugene. It repeats Sunday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m.

Chungliang returns for a new show at the 2004 Festival, "The Tao of Windlfow: A Tai Ji Musical Offering," featuring the music of Bach and Toru Takemitsu. He will be accompanied by flutist Lorna McGhee, harpist Heidi Krutzen, and violist David Harding, Monday, June 28 in Soreng Theatre.

See OPB's ArtBeat website for more details.
