2004 season • Press ReleaseOregon Bach Makes Newsweek ListApril 26, 2004 The Oregon Bach Festival was one of four classical music festivals chosen by Newsweek magazine in a survey of top summer events. The article appeared in the April 12 issue. “Bach master” Helmuth Rilling, the Gächinger Kantorei, and the St. Matthew Passion were mentioned as the main attractions.
