The Eugene finale: Mendelssohn's grand and mighty oratorio tells of the Old Testament prophet in a fast-moving story of faith, fearlessness, fight, and flight. Thomas Quasthoff takes center stage in the pivotal title role, while Helmuth Rilling marshalls the full force of the chorus and orchestra to transport your spirit as high as Elijah's heaven-bound chariot of fire.
